Blue Bridge MSP has launched a research and experimental development project to develop a cybersecurity knowledge graph based on innovative data analytics methods to detect malicious behaviour

On 9 August 2024, Blue Bridge MSP signed a funding agreement with the Innovation Agency for the implementation of the project “Development of a Cyber Security Knowledge Graph for Behavioural Analysis”.

The project will develop an advanced cybersecurity knowledge graph that will integrate heterogeneous cybersecurity data from different sources into a holistic real-time cybersecurity context. The graph will have advanced context discovery and mapping capabilities. The structure of the knowledge graph will be adapted to model the behaviour of cybersecurity agents by incorporating event and time concepts. The project will apply innovative knowledge graph construction and behavioural analysis techniques to effectively detect malicious activity.

The results of this project will contribute to the improvement of the services of the company’s security operations centre and will enable the market to offer a product that:

Provide a comprehensive view of the cybersecurity environment;
automate the detection of malicious behaviour;
accelerate security event analysis and threat response processes.
The project is carried out with partner Klaipėda University. The planned duration of the project is 24 months.

Source of funding – Co-funded by the European Union.

The project budget is EUR 1 535 057,93 and the allocated funding is EUR 866 628,85.
